MORE than 20 new members have joined the association in the past year bringing the total to 82.

President Robert Cockroft reminded the annual meeting at Lockwood Baptist Church that the membership target for for the centenary year was 100 and that now seemed feasible.

Members agreed to a rise in subscriptions from £8.50 to £10 (from £4.50 to £5 or country or student members).

Treasurer Stuart Scrutton reported that the financial aspect was healthy. Two new committee members were elected: Rowan Morton-Gledhill, who succeeds Don Roworth as secretary, and Michael Smith who succeeds Gladys Akroyd.
